Boston is LATAM Airlines Group’s sixth gateway in the United States, after Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando and Washington D.C.
LATAM Airlines Group announced that tickets are on sale from today for its Boston-São Paulo service. LATAM Airlines Brazil will operate four non-stop flights per week from Boston to São Paulo, Brazil, starting July 2, 2018.
“As LATAM’s principal hub and one of the major cities in South America, São Paulo offers unrivaled connectivity for passengers traveling from Boston and beyond. With this new route, LATAM will offer many more destinations for travelers to discover, whether the trip is for business or pleasure,” said Pablo Chiozza, LATAM’s Senior VP for North America, the Caribbean and Asia.
São Paulo is the most populated city in the southern hemisphere with over 21 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area and is an international business center known for its economic and cultural diversity. São Paulo’s Guarulhos airport is also LATAM Airlines Group’s principal hub, offering connections to over 120 destinations throughout Brazil and Latin America such as Belo Horizonte, Victoria, Lima, Santiago and Buenos Aires.

Starting July 2, 2018, LATAM Airlines Brazil’s flight JJ8165 will depart Boston (Logan International Airport) at 6:05 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, landing at São Paulo’s Guarulhos airport at 5:25 am, with a journey time of 10 hours, 20 minutes. The return flight, JJ8164, will depart from São Paulo at 11:55 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, landing in Boston at 9:10 am, with a flight time of 10 hours and 15 minutes. The route will be operated by Boeing 767 aircraft with capacity for 191 economy passengers and 30 Premium Business passengers.
New routes from São Paulo to Argentina
LATAM Airlines Group also announced today that it will continue to expand regional connectivity with two new routes between Brazil and Argentina: São Paulo-Mendoza, starting March 25, 2018, and São Paulo-Tucumán, beginning June 2, 2018. On both routes, LATAM Airlines Brazil will operate three weekly flights using Airbus 320 aircraft with capacity for 174 passengers. Tickets are on sale from today.
