LATAM Airlines informs that today (7 April) it is re-establishing normal services to and from Argentinian airports, following the national strike in Argentina on 6 April.
Passengers are recommended to review their itinerary in the My Trips page of latam.com and those who have connecting flights with third-party airlines are reminded that they should check their flight status directly with the respective carrier in advance.
LATAM apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this situation – which was outside of the company´s control – and is offering affected passengers the ability to modify travel itineraries originally planned for this day.
Changes and refunds
Passengers with flights to/from Argentina on 6 April that were affected by cancellations can choose from the following options:
Date/flight change (same origin/destination):
All passengers that would like to change their date/flight (both outbound and return) without penalty or fares differences can do so from seven days in advance until 20 days after the original date. For flights over Easter (12-17 April inclusive) and 20 days after the original date, changes are permitted without penalty but are subject to the applicable fare differences.
Route change:
A route change with no penalty, subject to differences in the applicable fare and validity of the ticket.
Refunds:
Refunds apply for all unused tickets without penalty.
