LATAM Airlines Group and its affiliates announced today that they plan to serve Tel Aviv, Israel. The flight will be operated by LATAM Airlines from Santiago with a stop in São Paulo (SCL-GRU-TLV), subject to regulatory approval.
The new flight will operate with three frequencies per week from the end of 2018, offering connections throughout Latin America.
In October, the airline group announced three new international destinations: Rome (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal) and Boston (United States). Tickets to/from Rome are already on sale via LATAM’s sales channels and it is awaiting regulatory approval to confirm operations to Boston and Lisbon.
With the four new routes, the airline group will offer flights to 144 destinations in 27 countries. Since the start of 2016, LATAM has announced and/or launched 26 new international routes, including São Paulo-Johannesburg, Lima-Barcelona, Lima Washington D.C., Santiago-Melbourne and Lima-San José, Costa Rica.
